Exhibitions
Recently, the permanent exhibitions at Moesgård Museum have undergone major alterations. The exhibition on Denmark's Stone Age and the collection of runestones are still present, whereas the earlier sections on the Bronze Age and Iron Age have been replaced by displays of two well investigated Iron Age finds, those of the Grauballe Man - a two thousand year old bog body, and of the war sacrifices from Illerup Ådal. Each of these new displays allows the visitor to get exceptionally close to violent events in a distant past.
Special exhibitions
Changing temporary exhibitions deal with archaeological and ethnographic topics.
